The future is coming, even to those who haven't yet caught on. In a Dutch retirement home the executive is innovating by letting a robot help out. The robot is called 'Zora' and is a further developed Nao robot from Aldebaran.
Zora is helping out with psychical therapy class. It stand on a table and demonstrates the differences exercises. In this stage a human instructor is also present to help out when extra instructions is needed.
Tinie Kardol, the executive of the retirement home, says they have no plans for robot to replace humans, but he does see great potential. Robots are getting more and more advanced and will be able to take care of tasks so that human caretakers can spend more time caring for their patients.
